Illustrated cover for a collection of Christmas stories with a satirical twist.

The commission was focused on illustrating the back cover. The goal was to illustrate the mystical steam train, with horns and cannons, that appears in the book. It is unknown where it comes from and where it is headed.

Effects emulating a watercolor were used to match the front cover which was originally painted in watercolors by another artist. The front cover was painted over to further unify the front with the back, bring out more dimension, and clarify some details.
